We are seeking a Manager, Engagements & Partnerships to oversee new outreach opening and cultivating the relationships that bring Overture's productions to new stages, new partners, and new audiences.

Responsibilities

• Researching and identifying symphony orchestras, performing arts presenters, promoters, and venues worldwide as candidates for Overture's productions, and making thoughtful first contact to create new long-term relationships
• Opening relationships on behalf of The Sinfonietta's creative management roster
• Outreach and relationship development for Overture's theatrical catalogue
• Pitching corporate and brand sponsorship for individual productions and for The Sinfonietta's season
• Maintaining a clear outreach and relationship tracker
• Working directly with Overture's CEO and COO on how the company is introduced into new markets and territories
• Contributing to the development of Overture's education, impact, and accessibility programming as that division grows

Job Requirements

• Most importantly: must have extraordinary email skills, particularly with new outreach, with the judgment to make each one specific to its recipient rather than templated, and the patience to build long-term relationships. The right person for this role is known amongst their colleagues and peers as having a particularly exceptional, compelling, and personality-filled email etiquette.
• Must genuinely understand and champion what Overture and The Sinfonietta are building in the entertainment, orchestral, and film concerts space, and be comfortable representing its leadership in conversation to high-ranking executives
• Must have excellent attention to detail and comfort ensuring that IP and confidentiality protocols are respected
• Must have working familiarity with, or a real appetite to learn, several of the following markets: symphony orchestras and performing arts presenters, concert promoters and touring, corporate and brand sponsorship, theatrical and educational licensing, and institutional or foundation funding
• Working knowledge of Notion or a comparable CRM strongly preferred
• Ideal candidates are self-starters who feel comfortable pitching new ideas and running with them
