MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. This opportunity is for a hospital-based MRI unit in Miami, FL. The position involves working with GE MRI equipment and electronic documentation in Meditech. Candidates will participate in an in-rotation call schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR credential.
- State licensure as required for MRI technologists in Florida.
- BLS certification.
- Experience performing MRI procedures on multiple patient populations, including pediatrics and cardiac studies.
- Experience with GE MRI equipment.
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems.
- Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Previous travel or contract experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in high-acuity settings.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 07:00-23:30.
- Call requirements: in rotation.
- Unit size: MRI team of approximately 6 staff members.
- Facility uses GE MRI equipment and Meditech for documentation.
