Job Description

Midway Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Material Handler for a growing manufacturing and distribution facility in Lake Zurich, IL. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with forklift experience who are looking to join a stable team.

Location: Lake Zurich, IL

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM
45-minute unpaid lunch break

Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour

Job Duties:

Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Load, unload, and transport products and materials.
Prepare shipments and stage materials for production.
Print and apply shipping and inventory labels using label printers.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED.
Previous sit-down forklift experience is required.
Experience using label printers in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills are preferred.
Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
