Step into an impactful role providing comprehensive psychological services within a vibrant K-12 school setting. This onsite, contract opportunity offers you the platform to support student success and collaborate with educators and families, all while advancing your career as a school psychologist.
You’ll work 35 hours per week on a consistent schedule, engaging directly with students and staff in a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs through August 2026, making it ideal for professionals seeking stability and growth in a rewarding setting.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Minimum of two years’ recent experience as a school psychologist in California schools
- Expertise in K-12 environments, including assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and consultation skills with school teams and families
- Commitment to ethical practices and fostering student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Deliver direct and consultative services to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing clear data and recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive interventions
- Help design, implement, and evaluate behavior management plans
- Keep accurate, confidential records in compliance with all regulations
