What We’re Doing

Our team, Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work

- Integrating JEMINI Lab test suites in our development and test environments

- Assisting software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues; develop configurations to support test and prototypes of developing systems

- Creating and modifying scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data

- Troubleshooting both test and prototype issues; develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary, and represent the Integration team

- Automating scripting to configure and maintaining remote hosts

Please Note:

-This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Top Secret level prior to start; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

-The role may involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:

• An Active DoD Final TS Clearance is required

• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues

• Knowledge of virtualized environments, including configuration and management

• Experience with software testing and integration of system components within test environments

• Familiarity with security design and implementation principles

Desired Skills:

• Advanced experience working with Linux operating Systems

• Proficiency in bash and Python scripting

• High-level understanding of automation concepts and implementation

• Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)

• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
