Job Title: Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $20/hour, based on experience

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46219

About the Role

We're hiring a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Indianapolis. In this role, you'll operate a sit-down propane forklift while also supporting hands-on warehouse operations including case picking, paper picking, order preparation, inventory handling, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to stay on task, and comfortable working independently.

What You'll Do

Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift
Load, unload, move, and stock products throughout the warehouse
Perform case picking and paper picking using item and location numbers
Pick, prepare, label, inspect, and prepare customer orders
Stock and organize warehouse inventory
Inspect products for damage and report quality concerns
Assist with inventory tracking and counts
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies
Support the warehouse team with additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience
Previous sit-down propane forklift experience strongly preferred
Previous picking and inventory experience
Ability to accurately work with item numbers, quantities, and location information
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stay focused and work independently
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and handle materials
Ability to lift, push, pull, move, and carry up to 75 lbs.
Limited English is acceptable, but candidates must be able to understand the communication necessary to perform the job safely and accurately
