Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at a Level 2 Trauma Center. The ER is a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients, averaging 220 patients per day. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform triage and assess patient conditions.
• Manage critical situations with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required - no exemptions.
