Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience; telemetry experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend/holiday
• Completion of onboarding health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
• Successful completion of background check and competency exams
• Driver's License or State ID
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills — ideal for collaborative Med/Surg and telemetry teams

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a busy medical-surgical unit
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to cardiac and clinical changes per unit protocol
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams; utilize virtual nurse assistance as needed
• Perform thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and families on discharge instructions
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and a clean clinical environment
• Participate in unit meetings, orientation, and ongoing professional development to support clinical competency
