Licensed Journeyman/Master HVAC Technician

Location - Onsite Role - Vienna, VA

Long term ongoing with no end date

 

 

Compensation*

$45/hr on W2

*This is the targeted compensation range for this role per hour. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.

Licensing Requirements:

-- At least Journeyman‐level license (VA preferred) or equivalent

- Licenses from MD, VA, DC, WV, or nearby states acceptable

-- Certificates/licenses must be confirmed and included with submission

 

Candidate Profile:

-- Master license preferred, but Journeyman accepted

-- Prefer minimum 5 years commercial mechanical experience

-- Strong troubleshooting skills with a safety‐first mindset

-- Ability to commit long‐term (building knowledge takes ~3 years)

-- Not suitable for apprentice‐level candidates

 

Shift:

M-F (weekend/overtime/on call rotation), Not open 24 hours

 

 

Job Description:

 

Onsite at Vienna, VA (Prefer a candidate within 45 minutes of HQ incase of emergencies)

 

§ VA HVAC Journeyman or Master License

§ Commercial HVAC experience

§ 7+years HVAC experience

 

§ Demonstrates thorough knowledge, skill and successful performance of job functions in the mechanical field, including plumbing and HVAC

§ Manages and oversees mechanical operations

§ Strong technical experience in mechanical system maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration. Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a range of mechanical systems.

§ Knowledgeable on state and local mechanical codes.
