This will be an in office position.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

• You will utilize various computer applications involving creating, and verification of financial records and forms.
• You will perform various supporting functions for General Accounting to include monitoring of daily processing of invoices, monitor and reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis, monthly review of A/P aging, and of re-occurring payables entry.
• You will work closely with Financial Analysts to review budgeted allocations in respect to A/P data entry and General Ledger coding.
• You will be responsible for automating electronic payments for utilities, phone and other services used by program locations, and or rental communities when deemed appropriate.
• You will work with outside vendors regularly to reconcile outstanding invoices that are paid and unpaid.
• You will develop and maintain a system to ensure all utilities invoices are received, processed, and paid timely.

SPECIALIZATIONS

• Assistance in creating and enforcing policy and procedure(s).
• Assistance with the preparation for the annual external audits.
• Must possess, strong computer skills, customer service, time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detailed focused multi-tasking while working in a fast-paced environment and during under month end closing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• High school diploma or GED
• Related Accounting experience such as AP/AR, Finance Operations, Payroll, Invoicing and other related experience
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines
