If you are a team-oriented hygienist who enjoys working alongside supportive teammates and values providing outstanding patient care, we would love to meet you.ScheduleMonday - Thursday7:45 AM Team HuddleClinical schedule through 4:00 PMFriday7:45 AM Team HuddleClinical schedule through 2:00 PMWhat You'll GainCompetitive benefits packageContinuing education and professional development opportunitiesClinical autonomy while practicing with full support from an experienced teamAccess to Heartland Dental's industry-leading mentorship, education, and resourcesOpportunity to grow with a practice that is actively rebuilding and expandingSupportive, collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered careResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including assessments, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance.Complete accurate periodontal charting and clinical documentation.Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and recommended treatment options.Take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs and other clinical images as needed.Partner with doctors and team members to support comprehensive treatment planning and outstanding patient outcomes.Utilize available technology to enhance patient education and clinical efficiency.Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation utilizing Dentrix.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and company standards.Foster positive patient relationships through exceptional service and communication.Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support overall practice growth.QualificationsRequiredCurrent Florida Dental Hygienist license in good standing.Current CPR/BLS certification.Strong clinical and patient communication skills.Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.Passion for providing exceptional patient care and educating patients on oral health.PreferredExperience with Dentrix practice management software.Experience utilizing Carestream imaging technology for CBCT and panoramic imaging.Experience using iTero intraoral scanning technology.Previous experience treating periodontal patients and presenting treatment recommendations.Experience with Dentrix, Carestream, and iTero is preferred but not required.
