Criminal Investigator (Special Agent)
This position is a Criminal Investigator (Special Agent), GS-1811-12/13, working for the R9-Chief-Office of Law Enforcement. As a Criminal Investigator (Special Agent), you will serve as an investigator responsible for planning, directing, and independently conducting complex and highly sensitive investigations regarding laws, rules, regulations, and treaties administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
This position requires fieldwork during daytime and nighttime hours and may involve work on weekends and holidays based on operational needs. Position locations include Salt Lake City, Utah; Seattle, Washington; Phoenix, Arizona; Los Angeles, California; San Francisco, California; Denver, Colorado; Washington, District of Columbia; Miami, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Indianapolis, Indiana; New Orleans, Louisiana; Boston, Massachusetts; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Kansas City, Missouri; Albuquerque, New Mexico; New York, New York; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Portland, Oregon; and Austin, Texas. Job salary ranges from $91,985.00 to $142,199.00 per annum.
