Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Neurology Clinic position in the Eureka, CA area, with Epic experience strongly preferred and a CA RN license required.

Job Details

• Outpatient Neurology Clinic setting - this is not an inpatient or bedside role,
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM,
• No weekend or on-call requirements,
• Typical weekly workload includes approximately 8 infusion orders, 50 refills, 15-20 prior authorizations, 50 patient calls/MyChart advice messages, and 15-20 office visits,
• MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) is used as a screening tool for detecting mild cognitive impairment,
• Charting is done in Epic,
• Floating between all facilities within the state may be required,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand (pending licensure not accepted),
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Experience in neurology and/or infusion nursing is highly preferred,
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting,
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration,

• Responsibilities include managing infusion orders, medication refills, prior authorizations, patient phone calls and MyChart advice messages, and supporting office visits,
