Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year! This contract opportunity, based near Jackson, GA, offers a rewarding chance to support young learners and contribute to a collaborative educational environment. From August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, you'll work a consistent weekday schedule, engaging with students across multiple grade levels and providing essential supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Georgia
• Experience or strong interest in working with students in a school setting, K-12 preferred
• Ability to oversee and support COTA staff effectively
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students of varying abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional needs to support their educational goals
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans within the IEP framework
• Provide supervision and mentorship to COTAs as they deliver OT services
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student success
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in team meetings as required

This position offers the stability of a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) in a supportive school atmosphere.
