Registered Nurse - Vascular Transplant Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30), with every other weekend and holiday coverage required.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Vascular Transplant Unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care within the vascular transplant unit, ensuring high standards of nursing practice
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting and reporting changes
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Provide care for patients requiring telemetry and ventilatory support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about health management and discharge planning

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact License
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with preferred experience in vascular transplant or critical care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
