Temporary Office Coordinator | Part-Time | Onsite in Manhattan | $25/hour

TSS is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Temporary Office Coordinator to support the busy New York City office of a mission-driven nonprofit organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of an in-person office environment and likes a role with a mix of reception, administrative support, scheduling, meeting and event logistics, and day-to-day office coordination.

The assignment will begin ASAP and continue at least through the end of the year . The schedule is approximately 24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 9:30am–4pm , fully onsite in Manhattan.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with the Office Manager to help keep the office welcoming, organized, and running smoothly. Responsibilities will include:

• Greeting visitors and helping coordinate building access
• Providing light reception and phone coverage
• Assisting with calendar management and scheduling meetings
• Coordinating Google and Zoom meetings for staff
• Helping with onsite meetings, events, and larger group visits, including catering and other logistics
• Monitoring shared office and kitchen spaces and restocking supplies
• Ordering office and kitchen supplies
• Processing mail, scanning checks and receipts, and handling light filing

• Have prior administrative, office coordination, reception, or similar support experience
• Enjoy working onsite and interacting with a variety of people throughout the day
• Are comfortable managing multiple calendars and coordinating schedules
• Have strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Are flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed
• Can work independently while also being a collaborative member of a team
• Are comfortable with technology;

Assignment Details

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:30am–4pm, approximately 24 hours/week

Location: Fully onsite in Manhattan

Pay: $25/hour

Duration: At least through the end of December 2026

This is a temporary position. Candidates should be available for the full assignment and comfortable committing to the Monday–Thursday onsite schedule.
