At Woofie's of Annapolis On the Spot , you'll work one-on-one with pets in a calm, appointment-based environment where quality care comes first. This is a stationary position at our Millersville headquarters— driving  is not required.

We're looking for an experienced Pet Bather who enjoys building trust with pets, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a supportive team that believes every pet deserves individualized attention.

For team members who demonstrate exceptional performance and a desire to grow, there may be opportunities to participate in future grooming training and advance into a professional grooming career.

What You'll Do

• Bathe, dry, brush, and prepare dogs of all breeds and sizes for grooming.

• Perform spa services including:
  • Nail trims

  • Ear cleaning

  • Teeth brushing

  • De-shedding treatments

  • Specialty spa add-ons

• Safely handle pets with patience, confidence, and compassion.

• Monitor each pet throughout their visit to ensure comfort and safety.

• Welcome clients and provide friendly, professional customer service.

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized bathing space.

• Help create a positive, low-stress experience for every pet and pet parent.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional pet bathing experience required.
  
  
• Experience in a grooming salon, veterinary hospital, mobile grooming business, or similar professional pet care environment.

• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments.

• Strong knowledge of safe bathing, nail trims and pet handling techniques.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Friendly, dependable, and a collaborative team player.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

• Reliable transportation to/from our Millersville headquarters.

• Availability to work a part-time schedule, including weekends.
