Contract | Onsite | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department serving adolescent through geriatric populations
• Manage a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 in a 59-bed ED averaging 165–175 patients per day
• Deliver care in a Stroke and STEMI Certified facility within a general (non-trauma) emergency department setting
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic and Pyxis systems
• Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations as required per assignment period
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Prior travel nursing experience required; candidates with at least 3 completed ER travel contracts strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Three or more completed Emergency Room travel assignments
• Experience working in high-volume, high-acuity emergency department environments
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
