About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Tax Manager who brings a strong background in public accounting and a passion for client service and team leadership. You will manage complex engagements, guide staff, and play a key role in maintaining trusted client relationships while contributing to the growth of the Business Tax Services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage preparation of complex tax returns
- Provide proactive year-end and general tax planning for clients
- Lead and oversee tax research projects
- Supervise, train, and mentor experienced tax staff
- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to departmental growth and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Tax or related field a plus)
- Active CPA license required
- 6-10 years of public accounting experience
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant tax software
