Job Description:
We are seeking a general dentist to join our team immediately. This position is for locals only, with flexible scheduling. The clinic operates Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (until 1:00 pm on Sunday). Work hours are typically from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, depending on the dentist's preference for lunch breaks (some prefer to work through). The ideal candidate will see approximately 9 treatments per day, with the potential for more based on procedures. Comprehensive exams may involve around 12 patients per day. There are no significant deal breakers other than the requirement to see patients of all ages; comfort with treating children as young as 4/5 years old is necessary, but ability to treat all ages is preferred. Endodontists are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must be enrolled with Medicaid or willing to enroll. An active Iowa Dental License is preferred. Support staff includes two dental assistants, a hygienist, and front desk personnel. The practice utilizes Denticon and Planet DDS EMR systems. This is a day shift position, 3 days a week, with each shift lasting 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00).
