This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, collaborate directly with clients, and contribute to strategy, business development, and project execution across a diverse energy portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor junior and mid-level electrical engineering staffServe as a technical leader on energy and power projectsEngage with clients to: Evaluate energy needsDevelop concept-level solutionsDeliver detailed engineering designsSupport full project lifecycle: Exploration ? Development ? Execution ? Operation ? Repowering/RetirementProvide advisory and engineering design services across multiple sectorsCollaborate with Client Account Managers and sales teams on strategic pursuitsContribute to business development and growth initiativesAnticipate challenges and proactively manage project risksSupport large, multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project deliveryRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 8+ years of design and/or consulting experienceStrong background in: Power distribution systems and microgridsPower generationMedium and High Voltage substationsExperience developing: Design calculationsConstruction drawingsTechnical specificationsStrong communication and technical writing skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency in 3D modeling tools: RevitAutoCADCADWorxNavisWorksExperience with power system modeling tools: SKM Power ToolsETAP (or similar)Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 1 yearExperience with: Renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal)Energy storage systemsProtection & Control, SCADA, or power system automationCampus utility master planning or decarbonization initiativesCogeneration / Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systemsThermal utility systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)What We're Looking ForStrong leadership and mentorship capabilitiesCollaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skillsAbility to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationshipsPassion for sustainable and innovative energy solutions
