Perinatal Registered Nurse

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. This role involves monitoring fetal heart rates, managing high-risk pregnancies, and assisting with both vaginal deliveries and C-sections. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to float to postpartum when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heart rates and high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Float to postpartum if necessary.
• Provide couplet care for newborns and maternal patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, especially in high-profile cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Perinatal RN in labor and delivery.
• Current certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.
• California RN license required.
• No open license hits will be approved.
