Process Engineer II Cleburne, TX Full time • R26_0949 Pay Range $94,100.00 - $129,400.00 Annual. This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. This position is also eligible for an incentive bonus. Role Overview The purpose of the Process Engineer II role is to provide technical leadership to operate a major asset (typical annual revenue of $50MM to $200MM) at target regarding output, usage of material, and energy by meeting the product specifications. This includes establishing a process of data collection, auditing, and preventive maintenance to identify deviations quickly and suggest corrective measures. RCCA analysis, 5 Why, JM Solve-It method, Keppner/Tregoe, and a Six Sigma approach should be applied where needed. Additionally, the Process Engineer II will be responsible for addressing improvements in process efficiency, product quality, and the cost of poor quality for the process, leading process optimization. The role will work with electrical engineers to develop and tune process control architecture and collaborate with specialists to develop and implement process modelling systems that further optimize operations. Raw material specifications will be reviewed regularly to drive performance improvements. Day to Day Responsibilities Perform continuous analysis identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions. Develop standard control processes and standard operating procedures. Define the process set points for all product types and create associated management tools (e.g., setup sheets in MII, SOPs). Support improvement of safety performance by encouraging safe behaviors and engaging in safety culture initiatives. Keep knowledge of the latest technologies, evaluate for use in current and future processes. Work closely with internal and external resources to resolve technical issues, share learnings, and potentially participate in JM COEs. Collaborate with multiple operations and functions to identify process improvement opportunities. Provide leadership for process redesign efforts during rebuilds or major investment projects. Lead multiple projects and process optimizations in a manufacturing operation. Provide on‑site support during construction and startup to enhance plant resource capabilities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science with a minimum of 3 years in industrial continuous process manufacturing (as a process or design engineer) and 2 years troubleshooting manufacturing processes. Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, including complex data analysis. Successful history of innovation and adaptability. Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Proven results orientation with the ability to lead key projects to successful completion. Experience with DOE for process improvement. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to set and communicate expectations to team members. Demonstrated collaboration skills with a broad range of employees. Proven ability to make timely decisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Strong leadership skills. Proven analytical and quality improvement ability. Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, internally and externally. Experience supervising or leading individuals or a project team to achieve milestones and objectives. Work environment typical of a manufacturing facility: may involve exposure to cold, heat, high noise, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust/mist/fumes, extensive walking or climbing.
