Family Advocate

Position Overview Expected hourly pay rate: $25.00. This full‑time position is essential to CCRC’s mission of cultivating child, family, and community well‑being. The role is based in an Early Education Center, supporting families and young children, and involves direct public interaction, program support, and administrative duties. Responsibilities Family Partnership and Comprehensive Services – 60% of time dedicated to working with families to provide continuity of care, case management, and coordinated services. Parent Engagement and Program Governance – 20% of time focused on supervising, supporting, and monitoring program quality, parent training, and community outreach. Program Compliance and Administrative – 20% of time dedicated to maintaining program records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling administrative tasks. Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies, Social Work, Human Development, or related field. Relevant experience working with families and young children. Possession of or ability to obtain certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or Child Development Teaching permits. Willingness to receive on‑the‑job training and certification is acceptable. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for meetings, trainings, and conferences; may include occasional overnight travel. Full‑time work schedule (40 hours per week). Availability for non‑traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, may be required. Valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, and DMV clearance if driving for CCRC; otherwise, an approved vehicle may be used. Comprehensive background and health clearance that meets Head Start and State requirements, featuring live scan, fingerprinting, medical check, and appropriate child‑development permits as applicable. Work Environment The position is located in an Early Education Center featuring on‑site classrooms for children ages birth‑to‑5, playgrounds, and office or storage space.
