Position Summary Sam's Club #6202 407 N Brentwood, Lufkin, TX 75904-7126 The Bakery/Packager associate prepares fresh baked items daily for members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. The role involves multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, assisting members with bakery orders, and maintaining a clean, organized area while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members to support bakery production and meet daily needs. Operate baking equipment, follow recipes, and prepare merchandise according to company policies. Wrap, label, and store products, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold‑chain guidelines. Use handheld technology to manage inventory, order supplies, and record production data. Maintain a clean, orderly, and member‑ready work area, including proper labeling and packaging. Assist members with questions and purchasing decisions, providing exceptional customer service. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including the Open Door Policy. Prioritize and complete assignments using available resources and data, and recommend process improvements. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.
