Beverage Director - Full Time The Midwestern | 900 Spruce St Join The Midwestern, a vibrant and dynamic establishment located in the heart of the city, as our next Beverage Director. In this pivotal role, you will lead our beverage program and create an exciting drink menu that complements our culinary offerings. Key Responsibilities Beverage Program Development: Design and implement innovative beverage menus, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic options, to enhance our guests' dining experience. Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage the bar staff, ensuring a high level of service and adherence to quality standards. Inventory Management: Oversee beverage ordering, inventory control, and cost management to optimize profitability. Guest Interaction: Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure a memorable experience at our full-service restaurant. Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to continuously innovate our beverage program. Requirements Proven experience as a Beverage Director, Bar Manager, or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive knowledge of beverage offerings, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. ServSafe or equivalent certification is a plus. Schedule This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
