PACU Nurse

The PACU Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing therapeutic communication and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning individualized care with an interdisciplinary approach, and participating in performance improvement activities. As acting in charge nurse role, ensures quality care, assigns staff based on patient acuity and skill, and serves as a clinical resource. The role requires demonstrating technical skills, critical thinking, and adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school Current RN licensure in the relevant state Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, CPI, and TNCC preferred Minimum of 1 year of ICU, ER, or PACU RN experience Key Duties Utilize therapeutic communication and ensure a safe care environment Perform age-specific assessments and care, maintaining patient confidentiality Document care accurately, follow procedures, and demonstrate critical thinking Coordinate care to align with hospital mission and goals #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
