Float Registered Nurse

Join a healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg Float role, providing high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading complex patient care with specialized training in progressive care to stabilize and support patients.
• Serving as the primary contact for clinical disciplines, ensuring seamless and coordinated recovery plans.
• Monitoring patient safety, documenting care accurately, and advocating for quality outcomes.
• Responding flexibly to hospital needs by providing expert nursing support in high-acuity cases.

Qualifications and skills:

• Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multistate license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in med/surg and progressive care settings.
• Experience with high-acuity patients and procedures such as chest tubes and medication infusions is preferred.
