Job Description As a Security Officer Hospitality Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM Tue 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM Wed 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM Thur 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM Fri 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity while following property rules and post orders, assisting with directions, inquiries, and other security‑related concerns. Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of building activity, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
