Houseman (Hotel) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Houseman to join our esteemed hotel team. As a Houseman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all our guests. This position is integral to delivering exceptional service and contributing to the smooth daily operations of our establishment. Key Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, lobbies, and other public areas of the hotel to maintain a clean and attractive environment. Assist housekeeping staff by collecting and distributing linens, amenities, and other supplies as needed. Address guest requests promptly and efficiently, including delivery of additional towels, bedding, and other necessities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and ensure adequate stock of housekeeping supplies. Assist with light maintenance tasks and report any repair needs or safety hazards to the relevant department. Support event setups and breakdowns, including arranging furniture and handling equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the hotel premises. Collaborate effectively with all hotel departments to provide seamless service to guests. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy items. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks. Why Join Us?
