Responsibilities Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, perform routine predictive & preventive maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment and systems throughout the facilities. Perform renovations and install new HVAC/R systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC/R equipment and systems. Maintain HVAC/R inventory. Make repairs, calibrate and functionally test equipment and systems. Recommend solutions for necessary corrective action. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Heating preferred. Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required. Related experience required to demonstrate ability to operate and maintain typical HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Systems. Two (2) years experience in a hospital or industrial environment with knowledge in the maintenance and repair of centrifugal chillers, energy management systems and associated equipment. Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $29.33 - USD $50.24 /Hr.
