Receiving ClerkThe Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming materials and shipments. This role also supports inventory accuracy through cycle counting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Quality ControlReceive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and packing slipsInspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues as neededAccurately enter received goods into inventory systemsLabel, tag, and store materials in designated warehouse locationsCoordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material flowCycle CountingPerform scheduled cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levelsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate records of counts and adjustmentsAssist with physical inventory audits as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious warehouse or receiving experience preferredExperience with inventory systems and cycle counting strongly preferredBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory software)Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift experience a plus)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift to 50 lbs. regularlyStanding, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftAbility to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing and warehouse settingExposure to moving equipment and varying temperaturesUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredScheduleFull-time position: shift hours may vary based on business needs1 ST Shift 7:00 am to 3:30 PmPlease also add some Saturdays maybe needed.Why Join Vertiv (Great Lakes)Competitive pay and benefitsOpportunity for growth within a global organizationTeam-oriented work environment focused on safety and qualityAt Vertiv, we're on a mission to empower the people that will power the future.
