Role Overview The position of Medication Aide/Med Tech involves administering medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders, ensuring safety, accuracy, and dignity. Key responsibilities include documenting medication administration accurately in MAR/TAR, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, and maintaining medication carts and rooms in a clean, organized manner. The role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through regulatory compliance and attention to detail.
