Position Overview

This position supports the Air Force Warfighter Communications and Cyber Systems (AF/A6) providing Enterprise-level Architect support to Air Force's systems. Looking for someone with a proven background in engineering and system design focused on enterprise-level systems.

Responsibilities

Focus on the broader AF/A6 enterprise, ensuring new and existing systems are properly integrated, modernized, and aligned with the Air Force strategic objectives.

Key advisor on enterprise-wide technology decisions and roadmap development.

Review technical documents relating to the Air Force systems and provide comments/feedback/recommendations to Air Force senior leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience with enterprise architecture and systems engineering. Must have demonstrated experience designing, integrating, and modernizing large scale, enterprise level systems across complex organizations.

At least two years of experience supporting DoD organizations, Air Force stakeholders, or similar federal clients.

At least two years of experience in roles requiring direct client engagement, advisory support, or stakeholder management.

Strategic Technical Writing — Strong writing capability with proven experience producing technical or formal documentation (e.g., proposals, technical reports, whitepapers, policy documents, theses).

Executive Level Verbal Communication — Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders, senior leaders, and cross functional teams.

Client Relationship Management — Proven ability to build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with senior clients and mission partners.

Detail Orientation & Analytical — Exceptionally detail oriented with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other productivity tools.

Meeting Documentation & Executive Support — Experience capturing detailed minutes and action items during high level meetings, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $105,000 - $115,000

Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
