Family Medicine Physician

Primary Care Physician – Full Time Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non‑Profit Health Center serving communities in the Hudson Valley and New York City. We seek a full‑time Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Bay Street site. Job Type: Full‑Time Salary Range: $237,182.40 - $269,755.20 per year Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 for eligible external applicants (terms and conditions apply). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Takes histories, performs physical examinations, and prescribes treatment and medication for conditions within the scope of your specialty using evidence‑based standards of care. Provides off‑hour and hospital coverage for Health Center patients as contractually required. Participates in quality improvement activities, including medical record peer review, protocol audits, and outcome reviews. Supervises clinical activities of medical providers and oversees medical documentation, including protocol review and telephone triage. Coordinates tests, referrals, and care for SRH patients outside the Health Center. Sets standards for preventive care and diagnostic screening and helps develop programs to implement these standards. Maintains legible and appropriate documentation of medical records. Attends provider meetings and adheres to productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction standards. Required Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures that nurse practitioners are trained to perform. Competence in delivering healthcare to patients, including preventative health education. Ability to collaborate with Health Center staff to maintain high quality standards and client satisfaction. Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) is preferred. Doctorate Degree (MD/DO) with board certification and a valid Physician License. CPR/BLS certification.
