As a Welder , you will play a key role in fabricating, assembling, and joining structural and piping components critical to our production and mission operations. You’ll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to execute precise, high-quality welds across a variety of materials, ensuring all products meet rigorous performance and safety standards. This role is hands‑on and suited for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, technical, and safety‑focused environment. Responsibilities Perform precision TIG, MIG, and arc welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-nickel alloys. Interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols to ensure dimensional accuracy and conformance. Fabricate, assemble, and pressure-test structural and piping systems supporting aerospace and defense operations. Maintain compliance with ASME, AWS, and company weld standards, following approved procedures. Uphold strict safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in all work areas. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication challenges. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization. Requirements High school diploma or GED; technical welding certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision fabrication. Skilled in blueprint interpretation and all-position welding (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead). Proven ability to fabricate and weld carbon and stainless structures and pipe to spec. Must pass company-administered weld qualification tests and internal inspections. Available to work overtime and varied shifts to meet mission timelines. Physically able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in confined or outdoor environments. Preferred Skills and Experience 5+ years of GTAW welding experience with stainless, carbon, Inconel, aluminum, or titanium. Knowledge of ASME Section IX, AWS D17.1, or MIL-STD welding codes. Experience in aerospace component fabrication or ground support systems. Skilled in tube and pipe cutting, grinding, and precision assembly. Familiar with pressure testing, inspection, and NDE methods. Proficient with precision measuring instruments and quality documentation. Understanding of welding metallurgy and heat control for high-integrity welds. Familiarity with advanced tooling and fixturing practices used in precision welded assembly fabrication.
