Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Location: Nashville, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg unit. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment while promoting the hospital's mission and values. This position requires a strong foundational knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditechs documentation system.
• Fill out white boards for patient experience requirements.
• Assist with various medical/surgical procedures as needed.
• Participate in unit staffing as a charge nurse or team member.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Basic knowledge of medical-surgical nursing.
• No specific certifications required.
• Ability to float to different units as needed.
• Must work every other weekend with willingness to accommodate scheduling requests.

Dress Code: Navy blue, black, royal blue, or gray scrubs are required.
