ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Textile and Print Designer, you'll create and edit repeating patterns and colorways for company orders, build compelling presentations for buyers and sales teams, and help keep our design library organized and accessible. This role calls for strong design fundamentals, a sharp eye for color and print, and the time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create original repeating patterns, prints, and colorways, from concept through production-ready files
• Lead print development for assigned brands, translating trend research into cohesive print stories
• Collaborate with design teams, and work with mills on strike-offs and color accuracy
• Build and present print presentations for buyers and sales teams
• Mentor and review the work of assistant and associate textile designers
• Maintain an organized library of design files and presentations while meeting deadlines across concurrent projects
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Art, Design, or a related field
• 3–5 years of textile or print design experience, preferably in women’s apparel
• Advanced proficiency in CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, plus solid Microsoft Office skills
• Strong command of repeats, color separations, and colorway development
• Strong color, print, and pattern sense, with a portfolio of original, trend-driven work
• Ability to work independently and give clear direction to junior designers

• Monday-Thursday: 8:30AM-6:00PM; Friday, 8:30AM-12:30PM
