Network Implementation Engineer Manager

Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and accountability, while supporting career growth.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within NDI processes, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction in network delivery.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.6 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.6 years of experience managing and building teams.Experience in network operations, including network diagnostics and fiber optics infrastructure.Preferred qualifications:7 years of experience in telecommunications or hyperscale infrastructure, with 3 years in engineering leadership.Experience leading, inspiring, and developing geographically dispersed technical teams.Ability to translate broad business objectives into action, paired with excellent executive-level communication skills.Expertise in TCP/IP, IP/MPLS, optical networking, transport networks, fiber optics, data center, and wireless technologies.Google is proud to boast a network that provides service to millions of Internet users around the world. You will be responsible for establishing and executing a vision for continuous improvement, meticulously driving processes and performance to achieve metrics across interval, quality, and cost. A paramount focus will be on cultivating a strong culture of operational safety, viewed through the lens of our customers. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
