Overview A law firm seeks a patent agent or patent attorney with expertise in biotechnology for its San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, particularly in the field of in vitro diagnostic assays. Responsibilities Draft and prosecute patent applications in biotechnology. Manage patent portfolios effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements Minimum of five years of relevant experience. Experience with patent databases and search tools. Familiarity with immunoassays, CRISPR-based assays, and related technologies. Education M.S. or Ph.D. in molecular biology or a related discipline preferred. B.S. with significant post-graduate experience considered.
