This role performs routine and emergency service requests, preventative maintenance, unit turns, and property inspections while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in apartment maintenance with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner. * Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community. * Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including unit turns and inspections. * Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues. * Maintain the grounds and common areas to company standards. * Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including participation in an on-call rotation as required. * Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and local regulations. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. * Assist with inventory management and organization of maintenance supplies. * Provide outstanding customer service while interacting with residents and vendors. Qualifications Required * Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience. * General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and carpentry. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods. * Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Preferred * EPA Universal or Type II Certification. * HVAC experience or certification. * CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus. * Experience with property management maintenance software. Work Environment * Indoor and outdoor work within a multifamily apartment community. * Frequent interaction with residents, vendors, and team members. * Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and time management skills. * On-call and occasional weekend availability may be required.
