Radiology TechnologistThe Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist licensed practitioners in treating customer/patient medical conditions. The Radiology Technologist operates imaging equipment, ensuring customer/patient safety and comfort, following Health First policies and procedures, regulatory protocols, while collaborating with healthcare teams to produce high-quality, radiographic images for accurate medical evaluation.Primary responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment with the operation of diagnostic imaging equipment, performing a variety of procedures, properly screening patients, positioning patients for diagnostic imaging, producing images consistent with image quality standards, identifying, preparing, and administering medications, monitoring patients during exams, maintaining flexibility, and communicating effectively with customers.The position adheres to all Federal, State, and Regional healthcare regulations and follows The Joint Commission/ACR standards.Minimum qualifications include a graduate of a Joint Review Committee approved Radiologic Technology program or school, general radiographer licensure in the State of Florida, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) certification, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card.Preferred qualifications include prior diagnostic imaging experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Physical requirements include being physically agile, frequently lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more, working in various environments, operating equipment, and maintaining visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.About Health First: At Health First, diversity and inclusion are essential for our continued growth and evolution.
