99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in the United States. Summary
We are seeking hard-working, reliable, and eager-to-learn Beverage Clerks to support our beverage operations. No prior beverage or food service experience is required. In this role, you will assist with beverage preparation, ingredient preparation, customer service, cleaning, and other daily operational tasks. Training will be provided to help new team members learn our beverage recipes, preparation procedures, and service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and assemble beverages according to company recipes, SOPs, and portion standards.
• Ingredient Preparation: Prepare, portion, organize, and replenish beverage ingredients and supplies for daily operations.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, answer basic product questions, and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Quality & Portion Control: Follow established recipes and preparation procedures to maintain consistent product quality, taste, and portion sizes.
• Product Replenishment: Monitor and replenish ingredients, packaging materials, and other supplies throughout the shift.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
• Cleaning: Maintain clean and sanitary beverage preparation areas, equipment, utensils, counters, and other assigned work areas.
• Inventory & Waste Control: Follow proper storage and FIFO requirements and minimize product and ingredient waste.
• Team Support: Work closely with team members and supervisors to support daily operations and customer service needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: No prior beverage or food service experience is required. Entry-level candidates are welcome, and training will be provided.
• Learning Ability: Willing and eager to learn beverage recipes, preparation procedures, equipment, and service standards.
• Customer Service: Friendly, service-oriented, and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Work Ethic: Hard-working, dependable, and able to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Pace & Adaptability: Able to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Able to follow recipes, portion standards, and preparation procedures accurately.
• Teamwork & Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Food Safety: Must obtain and maintain any required food handling certification in accordance with company requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

• This job requires the ability to perform the following essential functions:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• This job is performed in a beverage/food service environment that may involve exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors associated with beverage preparation and daily operations.

  • Standard Shifts: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
