Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs to design personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Use evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living capabilities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach patients and caregivers therapy techniques to maintain continuous progress at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatments: Document clinical outcomes and refine treatment plans to ensure effective patient care

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
