Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered, RT PEDS Richmond, VA. The position provides respiratory care in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting patients through treatments involving ventilators, nebulizers, bilevel and continuous positive airway pressure, and arterial blood gas procedures. Rotating weekend coverage and periodic call participation are expected.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Intensive care unit experience; current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; current Virginia state license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include administering nebulizer treatments, managing bilevel and continuous positive airway pressure equipment, operating ventilators, and performing arterial blood gas procedures. Rotating weekends are required, and one 24-hour call shift approximately every five to six weeks is preferred. Navy blue scrubs are required.
