Join the Providence ExpressCare Anchorage, Alaska team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care and emergency departments. There is plenty of variety in their services which demand critical thinking and clinic‑based procedures that providers enjoy every day. ExpressCare provides access to communities, both in person and virtually, while also offering a more predictable day with a schedule of 30 twenty‑minute appointments in a 12‑hour period. Although this position offers autonomy in practice with a single provider model supported by a MA, a large support structure exists with a larger team connected virtually. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while embracing the opportunities to respond to community needs as they arise.
