Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.Monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards are free of flaws and functions as designed. May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such micrometers, calipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessmentsParticipates in development of testing and inspection activities associated with product development and all stages of manufacturing. Defines and conducts both systematic methodical and random arbitrary tests to ensure proper performance of Parker Meggitt products.Performs internal audits of processes using inspection results and statistical techniques to Provide timely, accurate product analysis. Participates in root cause analysis initiatives for process-related concerns. Analyzes audit results and determines proper corrective and preventative action.Determines document control requirements per regulatory guidelines; review inspection forms and records for accuracy and compliance.Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.Skills Knowledge and AbilitiesKnowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirementsAbility to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solvingEffective customer orientationAbility to use existing procedures to solve problemsAbility to research and analyze data effectivelyeffective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsWell organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-taskStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and database management tools.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years' experience in Manufacturing or QualityA combination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact educational and/or experience requirementsExperience in aerospace and/or rubber and silicone industries is a plus Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
