Replevin Attorney, Asset Recovery

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President of Replevin to develop, implement, lead, and oversee a replevin litigation program and strategy for our national firm. The role will direct replevin‑related litigation, manage and mentor trial attorneys, and serve as a liaison with clients regarding reporting, billing, and counseling. You will handle a dedicated caseload of contested replevin cases, including counterclaims, arbitrations, mediations, motion practice, and trials. Oversight of drafting and development of litigation forms, filings, and processes in compliance with state laws is required. Minimum 5 years of progressive litigation experience, including all aspects of replevin actions, is essential. The base salary range is $145,000 - $160,000, plus applicable bonus. Responsibilities Include Develop processes, vendor relationships, and litigation strategy to provide effective and compliant representation to the firm’s national lender portfolio in replevin matters. Build and manage the Replevin Group to handle litigation across the firm’s national footprint. Provide leadership and direction to the Replevin Group and mentor attorneys regarding replevin matters. Execute firm‑wide replevin strategies and keep upper management and clients abreast of legal trends and challenges. Facilitate communication among trial attorneys, the Replevin Group, and clients. Act as lead counsel in select replevin matters, including motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, trials, and appeals as needed. Develop, review, approve, and monitor strategic, tactical, and operational planning for the Replevin Group. Oversee all replevin intake, litigation, and processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and client expectations. Develop and manage guidelines, plans, procedures, and processes for efficient delivery of legal services. Requirements Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university. Active license to practice law in one or more jurisdictions. Minimum 5 years of progressive litigation experience, including all aspects of replevin actions, preferably with demonstrated leadership of a litigation team. In‑depth knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to replevin preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency and ability to operate phone or equivalent device. Ability to maintain a minimum 40‑hour flexible workweek schedule. Ability to read and comprehend position‑specific documents and correspondence. Physical Qualifications Be able to lift five pounds or greater. Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times. Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed.
