Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans. This part-time role involves reviewing medical records, conducting comprehensive assessments, and completing VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online portal. Key Responsibilities Include Analyzing medical records through a secure web portal. Performing detailed, non-treating evaluations of veterans' health conditions. Completing and submitting accurate DBQs within 24 hours of assessments. Assessing up to four veterans daily. Ideal candidates are motivated to perform objective assessments, proficient in data analysis, skilled in digital documentation, and committed to serving veterans. Qualifications Include Active MD or DO license with specialization in PM&R. Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology preferred; residency completion in a relevant specialty considered. Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
