Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, ensuring clear and compassionate explanations at every step
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Thoroughly document procedures and ensure meticulous patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or similar field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• High degree of precision in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
